چکیده

Measuring evapotranspiration (ET) components in cotton fields under mulched drip irrigation is needed to improve water use efficiency and promote the development of water-saving agriculture. In this study, an Eddy Covariance (EC) system was used observe water-carbon fluxes arid region during two years (2021–2022). The Underlying Water Use Efficiency (uWUE) method partition ET into transpiration (T) evaporation (E) order reveal changing characteristics its analyze effects environmental factors on each component. results showed that diurnal variation same as gross primary productivity (GPP), their course change a bimodal curve at budding, blooming, boll stages. relationship T different growth stages ET, which blooming stage > budding opening seedling stage. were mainly affected by temperature (Tair) net radiation (Rn). This study can provide theoretical practical basis for application uWUE scientific rational allocation resources formulation farmland region.

Partitioning of Cotton Field Evapotranspiration under Mulched Drip Irrigation Based on a Dual Crop Coefficient Model

Estimation of field crop evapotranspiration (ETc) and its partitioning into evaporation and transpiration, are of great importance in hydrological modeling and agricultural water management. In this study, we used a dual crop coefficient model SIMDualKc to estimate the actual crop evapotranspiration (ETc act) and the basal crop coefficients over a cotton field in Northwestern China. A two-year ...

Relationships between carbon fluxes and environmental factors in a drip-irrigated, film-mulched cotton field in arid region

Environmental factors and human activities play important roles in carbon fixation and emissions generated from croplands. Eddy covariance measurements in a drip-irrigated, film-mulched cotton field were used to analyze the relationships between carbon fluxes and environmental factors in Wulanwusu, northern Xinjiang, an arid region of Northwest China. Our results showed that the cumulative net ...

Spatial Variability and Lateral Location of Soil Moisture Monitoring Points on Cotton Mulched Drip Irrigation Field

This experiment was conducted from April to September in 2009 in Baotou-lake Farm of Korla city, Xinjiang region, China. Two experiment schemes were designed for analyzing the spatial variability and lateral orientation of monitoring points for soil moisture. In scheme 1, 44 monitoring points were positioned with sampling depth of 0~60cm. In scheme 2, 20 monitoring points were placed with sampl...

Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Cotton Field under Different Irrigation Methods and Fertilization Regimes in Arid Northwestern China

Drip irrigation is broadly extended in order to save water in the arid cotton production region of China. Biochar is thought to be a useful soil amendment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Here, a field study was conducted to compare the emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4) under different irrigation methods (drip irrigation (D) and furrow irrigation (F)) and fertilization...
